Ellyse Moir is a bookseller, writer, and full-time daydreamer. After studying for three years at the University of Wollongong, she earned herself a Bachelor of Creative Arts, completing her major in Creative Writing. Born in Sydney and raised in rural Australia, Ellyse has now moved back to the city, where she lives with her wonderful doggos and mountain of books.

 

Due to Ellyse's tendency to write morally grey protagonists who fall for the villain, her stories frequently feature a twisted enemies-to-lovers trope and a cinematic atmosphere that sets the stage for an epic fantasy tale. When she's not writing, Ellyse can be found playing the piano, screeching theatre songs at the top of her lungs, obsessing over fictional characters, and cuddling as many animals as she can find.
